[Sunday Purpose Notes] Your next move is your best move...

Happy Sunday Reader,

If you've been connected to me for any length of time you know I believe what you do on Sunday sets your week up for success. I believe today you should be making plans for this week by looking over your planner and making sure you prioritize at least 3 areas of growth in your life.

The 8 Growth Areas are:

  • Spiritual
  • Personal
  • Health
  • Finances
  • Career/Business
  • Family
  • Community Service Giving Back
  • Education (continue learning)

You know the quote that says "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." While in theory it may carry some truth, there are some omissions, and you should try to live your life through a value system not motivational quotes.

The shots your take should be in alignment with your purpose & your priorities, which defaults to one of the 8 growth areas. It's essential to approach motivational messages with a critical eye and focus on messages that promote growth, self-compassion, and goal alignment.

Select 3 growth areas for yourself if you haven't already done so and write at least 1 thing you want to do this week pertaining to that area. That's the shot you should take and give it 100%.

Wishing you a purposeful, productive and profitable new week!

Your partner in purpose, planning and profit,

Crisha Sarah Bowen

P.S. I've really been contemplating the idea of Purpose & Profit Virtual, I'm looking at my calendar to see when I can host this. Hit reply to this email and let me know if this is something you'd be interested in attending.

The Trip That Re-Introduced Me To Myself

I almost didn’t go. The Entrepreneur Speaker Experience with my coach, mentor, and partner in success Marcus Y. Rosier was just days away, and life had been life-ing. We booked my ticket last minute, unsure if I could really make it. But I went…and I’m so glad I did. Because every time I travel, my worldview stretches. I don’t just see the people I’m called to serve; I get to meet a new version of me. When the host announced, “Coach Crisha is in the building,” the room erupted. Our clients...

Hey Reader, I know my Sunday note subject today probably has you curious. You're wondering, what are we going to do next? How is this even connected to purposeful inspiration this week. My mentor says "people invite you to do on their stage, what they see you doing on your own." Marcus Y. Rosier But....How on earth are you going to host your own event? What is this going to cost? Who will speak? What venue will you use? What will you say? I tend to always push people out of fixed mindsets....

Reader, another new week is ahead! Relationships matter; they’re an essential part of life. I think back to all those songs from the 90s and 2000s about being independent, as if it were a badge of honor. Quotes that said you didn't need anyone, only me, myself and I, that aren't founded in strong core values. But real strength lies in the truth that we are designed to be interdependent. When I got back from vacation, I had a rough week. My dad suddenly fell ill with a viral infection, which I...
