I know my Sunday note subject today probably has you curious. You're wondering, what are we going to do next? How is this even connected to purposeful inspiration this week.

But....How on earth are you going to host your own event?

• What is this going to cost?
• Who will speak?
• What venue will you use?
• What will you say?

I tend to always push people out of fixed mindsets.

Expanding what their default thinking sees as limitation. Rewriting definitions and simplifying the execution with a very generous dose of you MUST believe in yourself.

An event is one of the best ways to create excitement around your brand, boost visibility, increase sales, make an impact. While its impossible for me to share all my thoughts on your next event in this email, I will give you a few starting points.

Event Mission

Is this event being used for visibility (for people to be aware you and your brand exist). Profitability (gaining attention for the purpose of sales), Awareness (making people aware of your message, lead to community building).

Whatever you goal, you have to start with the mission. This will guide delivery.

Now please don't think I'm only talking about in person events. A virtual event is also a good no - low cost option that costs you a date and the GO LIVE button on most platforms.

To take things further, every day is an event and social media is a great billboard.

After decided the event's mission, invite people to join the mission. The mission can be to read a book, study a concept, discuss a topic, sample a product, experience a service etc. That's an event!

Think about it....

What makes a good tv series? A continuous conversation that keeps you on the edge of your seat and you can't wait to see the outcome. What about if you viewed everyday as an event and created one continuous conversation for your audience.

I had fun sharing some thoughts with you today on events. I know it's not my typical notes but I wanted you to begin looking at everyday as an event and every activity as equal to building your stage.
