[Sunday Purpose Notes] Why Relationships Matter for Your Purpose...

Reader, another new week is ahead!

Relationships matter; they’re an essential part of life. I think back to all those songs from the 90s and 2000s about being independent, as if it were a badge of honor. Quotes that said you didn't need anyone, only me, myself and I, that aren't founded in strong core values.

But real strength lies in the truth that we are designed to be interdependent.

When I got back from vacation, I had a rough week. My dad suddenly fell ill with a viral infection, which I then contracted, leaving me down for about four days. I'm better now!

This Sunday note isn’t about the vacation, being sick, or even the recovery. It’s about how I felt afterward and the unexpected solution.

Last Friday, I was chatting with my nail tech during our usual appointment. We talked about the last Purpose Profit Conference event, life, business, and future goals. That 90-minute interaction was just what I needed. I didn’t just leave with bomb nails; the conversation reignited my internal drive.

It was refreshing, non judgemental, just a free flow of ideas without having to identify the problem, solution and the fix all in one breath. We simple talked.

When was the last time you just talked? Not for advice, solutions or ideas, just to express your heart and mind?

Community and relationships are crucial, and they should be designed to support your life.

As you step into this week, consider these actionable steps:

  1. Right Environment: Surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire you. Evaluate your circles and seek out spaces where you feel both challenged and supported.
  2. Right Information: Engage in conversations that fuel your passions and dreams. Be intentional about what you consume and who you listen to.
  3. Right Level of Access to an Expert Coach or Mentor: Seek guidance from someone who’s walked the path you’re on. Their insights can accelerate your progress and help you avoid unnecessary pitfalls.

Remember, strength doesn’t come from standing alone but from knowing when to lean on others. This week, take a moment to appreciate the relationships in your life and consider how you can cultivate them further to support your purpose.

The Trip That Re-Introduced Me To Myself

I almost didn’t go. The Entrepreneur Speaker Experience with my coach, mentor, and partner in success Marcus Y. Rosier was just days away, and life had been life-ing. We booked my ticket last minute, unsure if I could really make it. But I went…and I’m so glad I did. Because every time I travel, my worldview stretches. I don’t just see the people I’m called to serve; I get to meet a new version of me. When the host announced, “Coach Crisha is in the building,” the room erupted. Our clients...
