Looking back over July... Granted, we aren't at the end of July yet, but we are almost there! It's the last full week of this month and I have enjoyed reading your replies to my emails, sharing your success with me. Some of you wrote books, launched businesses, pivoted businesses or even simply refocused your personal life. Let me tell you its so encouraging and inspiring to see. To build a community of people who are daily seeking purposeful advancements. If everything is a priority, then nothing is! This is exactly why I don't subscribe to the whole work life balance idea. You can never give every area of your life equal time, energy, efforts and resources. What I do practice is life harmony and prioritising where I should place my efforts in all the season of my life. What was your biggest growth area thus far in 2024? Wildly enough mine has been emotional intelligence. If I am to tell you, I would be so reactive when things happened to me and I internalised every single thanggggg! I noticed it impacted my mood, my thought process, my business delivery even my personal life. When something happened Reader, I made it a personal indictment. I've literally trained myself to pause and think "why does this make me feel this way?" and I dig into "what old experience is this triggering," by noticing the emotion I am feeling. I even go as far as to ask myself why I haven't dealt with it. If it's constantly coming up, you might need to give it some attention and redirection. Self assessment and self reflection is a powerful tool that helps you to note what to focus on. Your mind stores all the details of experiences and triggers the emotion related to it. What about if you could reframe the experience? Not act like it never happened but think about it in a new way. This has been my biggest lesson and new habit practice. I hope something I share weekly inspires you to keep going and to keep growing. We are definitely all on the same growth journey. Your partner in purpose, planning and profit, Crisha My interesting reads/listens this week (I use audible a lot and listen to books during my drive time) Also found this other interesting listen Quotes from Outwitting the Devil "You are entitled to know that two entities occupy your body. One of these entities is motivated by and responds to the impulse of fear. The other is motivated by and responds to the impulse of faith. Will you be guided by faith or will you allow fear to overtake you?." "Failure is man-made circumstance. It is never real until accepted by man as permanent." "The person who moves with definiteness recognizes the difference between temporary defeat and failure. When plans fail he substitutes others but he does not change his purpose. He perseveres." |
I talk about the secrets to creating a profitable online course. I'm the shortcut entrepreneurs take to create premium profitable online courses.
I almost didn’t go. The Entrepreneur Speaker Experience with my coach, mentor, and partner in success Marcus Y. Rosier was just days away, and life had been life-ing. We booked my ticket last minute, unsure if I could really make it. But I went…and I’m so glad I did. Because every time I travel, my worldview stretches. I don’t just see the people I’m called to serve; I get to meet a new version of me. When the host announced, “Coach Crisha is in the building,” the room erupted. Our clients...
Hey Reader, I know my Sunday note subject today probably has you curious. You're wondering, what are we going to do next? How is this even connected to purposeful inspiration this week. My mentor says "people invite you to do on their stage, what they see you doing on your own." Marcus Y. Rosier But....How on earth are you going to host your own event? What is this going to cost? Who will speak? What venue will you use? What will you say? I tend to always push people out of fixed mindsets....
Reader, another new week is ahead! Relationships matter; they’re an essential part of life. I think back to all those songs from the 90s and 2000s about being independent, as if it were a badge of honor. Quotes that said you didn't need anyone, only me, myself and I, that aren't founded in strong core values. But real strength lies in the truth that we are designed to be interdependent. When I got back from vacation, I had a rough week. My dad suddenly fell ill with a viral infection, which I...
