[Sunday Purpose Notes] Am I Missing The Lesson?🤔

Happy Purpose Sunday Reader,

By the time you’re reading this I’m driving home from an empowerment brunch and it’s officially 10 day to the Purpose & Profit Conference.

I think I’m certainly about to become an event consultant 😂after my 1st conference on June 19.

In today’s Sunday Purpose note I want to share the most important things I’ve learnt while executing this event which are 1000% applicable to executing any vision.

Ask for help, build a team : vision needs partnership

Build a solid team around the vision. Doers, action takers, self motivated people who will maintain the integrity of the vision. Choose people you would want to represent you in your absence because they are representing you.

Be clear about your vision : rehearse it frequently and often

When you start working with your team, they will start introducing ideas which are incredible. Always remember to stay true to what you envisioned. Incorporate the ideas that make the execution flawless without altering the intent or outcome.

Prioritize activities: you will have to be extremely organized

Place order of priority for things to be done. Stay true to the budget (or have a bestie like mine who says NO, when you’re going over the budget). I’m usually not happy when she says no, but I’m always grateful, I can be excessive at times. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Have you learnt any of these lessons while pursuing your vision?

There’s a line from an Alicia Keys song that says “mistake overturned, I call it a lesson learnt!”

Your partner in purpose, planning & profit,

Crisha

The Trip That Re-Introduced Me To Myself

I almost didn’t go. The Entrepreneur Speaker Experience with my coach, mentor, and partner in success Marcus Y. Rosier was just days away, and life had been life-ing. We booked my ticket last minute, unsure if I could really make it. But I went…and I’m so glad I did. Because every time I travel, my worldview stretches. I don’t just see the people I’m called to serve; I get to meet a new version of me. When the host announced, “Coach Crisha is in the building,” the room erupted. Our clients...

Hey Reader, I know my Sunday note subject today probably has you curious. You're wondering, what are we going to do next? How is this even connected to purposeful inspiration this week. My mentor says "people invite you to do on their stage, what they see you doing on your own." Marcus Y. Rosier But....How on earth are you going to host your own event? What is this going to cost? Who will speak? What venue will you use? What will you say? I tend to always push people out of fixed mindsets....

Reader, another new week is ahead! Relationships matter; they’re an essential part of life. I think back to all those songs from the 90s and 2000s about being independent, as if it were a badge of honor. Quotes that said you didn't need anyone, only me, myself and I, that aren't founded in strong core values. But real strength lies in the truth that we are designed to be interdependent. When I got back from vacation, I had a rough week. My dad suddenly fell ill with a viral infection, which I...
